Occupational therapy helps patients reengage with their daily life after an injury or illness. It helps patients identify various interventions, utilize technology and incorporate equipment that allows them to live life to its fullest. Occupational therapist can help with increasing a person's ability to live an independent life as much as possible. Therapist helps patients with things such as, bathing, dressing, eating, home safety, meal preparation and much more. It focuses on helping patients manage their activities of daily living.
